Meridian Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Meridian website, ticketing, and event programme (“the Services”), operated by Meridian Design Week (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By registering, purchasing a pass, or attending the event, you agree to these Terms.

Tickets & Passes

  1. Purchase. All ticket sales are final unless stated otherwise on the tickets page. Prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes and fees where noted.
  2. Transfers & upgrades. Day Passes may be upgraded to Studio Passes or Team Residency access up to 10 days before the event. Passes may be transferred to another named attendee by emailing tickets@meridian.design with the order number.
  3. Refunds. Refund requests received more than 30 days before the event are honoured in full. Requests within 30 days of the event are honoured as credit toward the next edition. No refunds are issued after the event begins.
  4. Free passes. Virtual Passes require registration and are subject to capacity. We may cancel registrations that appear automated or fraudulent.

Behaviour at the Event

By attending, you agree to follow our Code of Conduct. We may remove any attendee who violates it, without refund, and reserve the right to refuse entry at our discretion.

Recordings & Content

Keynotes and select ateliers are recorded. By attending, you consent to appearing in photography and recordings used for editorial and promotional purposes. Presentations remain the property of their speakers; you may not reproduce them commercially without permission.

Your Data

Registration data is used to administer the event, send logistics, and — with your consent — keep you informed about future editions. See the Privacy policy for details. We do not sell your personal information.

Liability

The Services are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian Design Week is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from attendance, including loss of travel, accommodation, or business expenses. We recommend attendees arrange their own travel insurance.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and via email to registered attendees at least 14 days before taking effect.
